Lead Interior Trim Design Engineer

Jonathan Lee Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Interior Trim Design Engineer to join their Centre of Excellence for design and development in Cranfield. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive your career forward in the automotive design and development sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct RFQ and quote breakdown analysis for New Model Sourcing and Cost Management.
- Engage directly with suppliers and manage supplier activity, including cost, quality, and timing.
- Proven experience in automotive design and development, particularly within interior cabin parts/modules.
- Strong capability in cost breakdown analysis and cross-functional teamwork.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements across different regions.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel globally.
- Proficiency in CAD, time management, and Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
