About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Building Inspector to join our client's team. As a Building Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that buildings are constructed in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and standards.
- Prepare and submit reports on site inspections, highlighting any defects or non-compliances.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues identified during site inspections.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures to ensure consistency and excellence in building construction.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as building surveying or construction management.
- At least 5 years of experience in building inspection or a related field.
- Proficiency in carrying out key stage inspections and audits throughout the build process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
