About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Building Inspector to join our team at ATS Recruitment. As a Building Inspector, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, quality assurance, and site inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections and complete corresponding support documents in line with our company's SLA with clients.
- Assist the Associate Director in achieving operational duties in accordance with our QMS procedures.
- Work on a broad range of buildings, from single dwellings to large-scale projects, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Hold a background in warranty surveying, building control surveying, clerk of works, or building surveying, and either hold or be working towards professional membership (CABE, RICS, MICWCI, CIOB etc).
- Assist in achieving monthly targets for the company, its service delivery, and planned year-on-year growth.
- Deliver internal technical auditing across project risks, site surveying, plans checking, and management.
- Build effective client relationships through the completion of surveying duties.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual with a building degree or at least 5 years of experience in inspecting new build homes and proficiency in carrying out key stage inspections audits throughout the build process. Professional membership is required, with a minimum grade accepted as TechRICS / ACIOB / ACABE / LICWCI or NVQ Level 6.
