We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Therapeutic Support Worker to join our team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Psychological Skills Service, you will play a vital role in delivering skills-based brief psychological interventions to individuals with mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and teach psychological skills to clients, including anxiety management, low mood, graded exposure, and coping with voices.
- Support clients to make their own choices and identify recovery goals that are important to them, using empowerment skills.
- Work collaboratively with clinicians to develop and deliver group interventions.
- Complete relevant letters and reports related to interventions delivered.
- Travel independently around the county to meet service needs, holding a full UK driving licence and having use of a vehicle.
- Clinical experience of working on a one-to-one basis with people with mental health problems.
- Experience of supporting service users in problem-solving and structuring daily routines.
- Clinical experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience of delivering CBT strategies or short-term psychological interventions.
- Experience of assisting in the delivery of therapeutic groups.
