GCSE Tutor Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced GCSE tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel.
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored academic support to GCSE students in various subjects, helping them to achieve their full potential.
- Create and implement lesson plans to address individual learning needs, ensuring students receive the best possible education.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations, helping them to feel confident and prepared for their assessments.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- A relevant degree in Education or a subject related to the GCSE curriculum, demonstrating a strong understanding of the subject matter.
- Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent), showcasing your ability to teach and support students.
- Experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE level students, allowing you to bring valuable expertise to the role.
- Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements, ensuring you are well-equipped to support students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs, demonstrating your flexibility and creativity.
- Organisational skills to plan and deliver effective lessons, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning experience.
