About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Worker to join our team at Transforming Churches and Communities. As a Finance Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the bookkeeping functions for our clients, including liaising on invoicing, recharges, expenses, assessment calculations, and billings.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Support the bookkeeping functions for our clients, including invoicing, recharges, expenses, and assessment calculations.
  2. Liaise with clients on financial matters, including billings and payments.
  3. Maintain good financial control and governance, in line with relevant policies.
  4. Demystify financial processes and explain them clearly to clients, many of whom are volunteers.

About Us:

Transforming Churches and Communities is a small and friendly team with big ambitions to enable and support those communities who need us. We work predominantly with the Methodist Church of Great Britain, although not exclusively. Our goal is to support charities and churches as they seek to serve their communities and develop.

Working Arrangements:

The role will involve working 3 days per week (21 hours), with one day a week in our office in Hulme and two days flexible home working. The annual salary will be £27,613 FTE, which will equate to approximately £16,567 pro rata.
