Environmental Impact Expert Opportunity

HKA Birmingham is a leading global consultancy in risk mitigation, dispute resolution, expert witness, and litigation support. Our Environment & Climate Change team has seen significant success in client development and project work, both live and in the pipeline.

We are seeking an established Environmental Impact Expert to join our team as part of the development of our business. This is an opportunity to leverage HKA's strong brand in the construction space and reputation for exceptional expert witnesses to accelerate career development and connections within this space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sustainability Assessments
  • Ecology
  • Climate Change
  • Environmental Impact Assessments
  • Strategic Impact Assessments
  • Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Well-rounded and established within their area of expertise
  • Degree qualified in a suitable area of expertise
  • Chartered Engineer is preferable
  • Experience in Expert Witness Report writing
  • Appointed as an Expert and have experience of giving formal evidence in court or arbitrations
  • A robust network of people in their area of expertise
  • Experience of leading a team of specialists
