About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Oncologist to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with Upper Gastrointestinal Cancer, Cancer of the Unknown Primary, and contributing to the Acute Oncology Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and supervise the teaching of junior medical staff and students in the department.
  • Support and foster research, audit, and teaching in conjunction with consultant colleagues.
  • Take part in the teaching of medical undergraduates and postgraduates.
  • Share administrative duties associated with the running of an effective department.
Person Specification
  • FRCR or European equivalent if Clinical Oncologist.
  • MRCP or equivalent if Medical Oncologist.
  • Registration in the Specialist Register for Oncology.
  • Full GMC registration.
