Financial Perception Research Analyst
The Team:
You will be part of a dynamic, global team split across various locations, covering clients across all sectors and markets. The team works in a collaborative environment to deliver client projects with the support of Director-level leadership. Our division offers a flexible work-from-home policy with most analysts working in a hybrid environment.
The Impact:
The Global Perception Analytics team is a vital resource for internal and external stakeholders to understand current market sentiment about specific companies, stocks, and investment trends. Clients rely on our research and data to make decisions about their market communications and Investor Relations practices.
Perception reports contain both quantitative and qualitative analyses and are delivered as Board-quality presentations with detailed results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively follow the capital markets and research companies to stay up-to-date on current financial events and well-versed about multiple industries.
- Conduct in-depth telephone interviews with buy-side analysts, portfolio managers, and sell-side analysts.
- Edit and proofread transcripts based on recorded telephone interviews into client-ready deliverables.
- Organize data in Excel to create graphs that illustrate findings in a quantitative format.
- Engage directly with clients throughout the project process and when delivering report findings.
Requirements:
- University Degree (minimum Bachelor) preferably in Finance / Business / Economics and 1-3 years' experience in capital markets or investor relations preferred.
- Comfortable with financial language and terminology.
- Strong analytical skills and writing ability.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
