About the Role

Securitas Security Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relief Security Officer to join our team at Gloucester Quays. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers, employees, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Protect and secure the premises by monitoring CCTV, responding to alarms, and conducting regular patrols.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being approachable, friendly, and professional in all interactions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and secure environment, and to resolve any incidents or issues that may arise.
  • Operate security equipment such as radios, pagers, and clocking systems.
  • Investigate incidents and report any suspicious activity or security breaches.
  • Conduct regular checks on security equipment and report any faults or issues.
  • Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • SIA License
  • 5 Year checkable work history and supporting Right to work documents
  • Reasonable commuting distance
  • A firm grasp of English, both written and spoken
  • Outstanding customer service skills
