About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Despatch Operative to join our team at Allied Bakeries. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient receipt, handling, and distribution of daily sales orders to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a professional, safe, and efficient service to ensure correct receipt, handling, and distribution of daily sales orders.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure cross-functional working and optimal performance of the function.
  • Meet performance targets set by the Warehouse Management System and other supporting systems.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with other teams on site.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a warehousing and distribution environment.
  • External FLT licenses are desirable.
  • PC literate and working ability with Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills, as well as good interpersonal skills and a real team player.
  • Good time keeping, organized, and good communication skills.
  • Conscientious and flexible in their approach to work.
  • A strong customer and quality focus.
