Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Co-Founder to join our team at Deep Science Ventures and tackle the pressing challenge of enabling secure and scalable geological CO2 storage. This is an exceptional opportunity for an enterprising individual to co-found and build a global-scale, impact-driven company from the ground up.

As a Co-Founder, you will work closely with our supportive team and the current Founder in Residence for this area to develop a new company that addresses the urgent need to remove and store billions of tons of CO2 from our atmosphere.

  • Develop and execute a business strategy that leverages our proprietary tools and resources to create a high-impact venture;
  • Cultivate relationships with relevant government, regulatory, and research institutions to drive commercial and regulatory progress;
  • Build and manage a team of experts to drive the development and deployment of our CO2 storage technology;
  • Collaborate with our network of Partners and Advisors to ensure access to know-how and expertise in the opportunity area;
  • Ensure the new company meets the necessary standards for secure and scalable CO2 storage.
Key Requirements

We are looking for a Co-Founder with strong leadership skills, a passion for tackling the climate crisis, and a proven track record in building and scaling organisations. Ideal candidates will have experience in:

  • Building and scaling organisations, including growing and managing teams;
  • Fundraising, corporate governance, and board reporting;
  • Establishing strong relationships with government, regulatory, and research institutions;
  • Developing and executing business strategies that drive commercial and regulatory progress;
  • Cultivating a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
