Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Solicitor to join our team at Slater and Gordon, a leading consumer law firm. The ideal candidate will have experience in Court of Protection and a strong understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

About the Role

As a Court of Protection Specialist Solicitor, you will be responsible for drafting applications for the appointment of deputies, property and affairs, and statutory will applications. You will also work on gift and care applications, annual OPG accounts, and other related tasks.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Drafting applications for the appointment of deputies, property and affairs, and statutory will applications.
  • Working on gift and care applications, annual OPG accounts, and other related tasks.
  • Providing legal advice and support to clients and colleagues.
  • Participating in marketing opportunities and contributing to blogs and media commentary.
  • Producing complex documents, briefs, and witness statements.
  • Leading client meetings and managing negotiations.
