Job Description

Job Title: Senior Accountant and Auditor

Company: SourceCo

Location: Remote (Hybrid working)

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £35 - £45,000pa + Company benefits

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant and Auditor to join our team at SourceCo. As a key member of our accountancy practice, you will be responsible for dealing with a portfolio of clients on a day-to-day basis, preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and providing accounting support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Dealing with day-to-day queries in an efficient and timely manner
  • Completion of annual company and charity audits
  • Preparation of self-assessment tax returns for clients in the portfolio
  • Providing support and guidance to junior members of the team, where required

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified and/or qualified by experience of preparing financial statements and conducting audits within an accountancy practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Financial Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation knowledge
