Job Summary

Holtec International is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead site-based work in the nuclear industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with the ability to operate independently and effectively communicate with stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering successful project outcomes, maintaining high standards of professionalism, and ensuring realistic work programmes are prepared and managed according to the requirements of the project and contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and management of the project team
  • Effective communication with stakeholders
  • Operational and strategic direction for the project team
  • Quality delivery through effective planning and right-first-time delivery
  • Maintenance of good working relationships with clients and their project management and supervisory team
  • Preparation, management, monitoring, review, and update of realistic work programmes
  • Use of appropriate and effective communication methods
  • Keeping line management appraised of potential risks and opportunities
  • Management and development of safety files
  • Successful experience and performance at Project Management of products or equipment manufactured by third parties

Requirements:

  • Project Management Qualifications (APM or PMP)
  • 5 years of experience in the nuclear, construction, petrochemical, or power generation sector
  • Previous experience working in Nuclear is preferred but not essential
