Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of the Children's Complex Care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to children with complex health needs in their own homes and schools.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic nursing team, supporting children with a range of complex disabilities due to chronic disease, congenital abnormalities, trauma, or who are terminally ill and at the end of their life.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide basic nursing care and specialist care for children in various settings, including home and school
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, services, and agencies to deliver holistic care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and carers
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A good level of basic education, including computer skills
  • An NVQ level 3 in a child or young adult-related subject or equivalent level of experience
  • The ability to be flexible in the community setting, a good team player, and able to develop collaborative working relationships

Salary & Benefits

This role comes with a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
