Our Community Houses in Steeton, Sutton-In-Craven, and Cowling provide a safe and structured environment for individuals to receive the care and support they need. As a Senior Support Worker, you will work closely with our team to promote independence, empowerment, and rehabilitation, helping our service users to achieve their goals and live more fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist service users with daily activities, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
  • Contribute to individual recovery journeys and promote independence and empowerment
  • Write and update care plans, recording service user electronic notes
  • Promote activities and support service users with in-house and community-based rehabilitation
  • Issue medication and perform general duties, such as admin, cleaning, and stock ordering
Requirements
  • Experience as a Senior Support Worker or in a similar role
  • Leadership skills and experience
  • Strong empathy and a caring and compassionate nature
  • Excellent people and communication skills, with a good sense of humour
  • Ability to deal with challenging behaviours and maintain a positive and professional approach
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
