About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Operations Manager to join our team at Marston's. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving sales, improving guest satisfaction, and delivering exceptional results in our community pubs across the North West.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of pub managers and staff to achieve business objectives and improve customer experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve profitability, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with support functions such as marketing, finance, and HR to achieve business goals.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance, provide coaching and guidance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate and timely decision-making.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Build strong relationships with pub managers, staff, and stakeholders to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an Area Manager in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving profitability, and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
