We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Educational Teaching Assistant to join our team at Castle Hill School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students with severe and profound learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the teaching and learning process in the classroom, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of lessons, including the adaptation of materials and resources to meet the needs of students with complex needs.
  • Provide individualized support to students, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans, working closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure that students receive the support they need.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions, staying up-to-date with best practice and developments in the field of special education.
