Kerakoll, a leading manufacturer in sustainable building materials, is seeking an experienced Procurement Director to lead its procurement strategy for a new plant setup.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to define procurement strategies, establish supplier partnerships, and ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing while driving Kerakoll's commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in procurement management, ideally within new plant setups or large-scale projects, and expertise in supplier relationship management, market analysis, and budget control.
Key responsibilities include:
- Procurement Strategy and Planning: Develop a procurement roadmap aligned with Kerakoll's strategic goals, establishing objectives for supplier partnerships and risk management.
- Supplier Management: Build strong, collaborative relationships with key partners to uphold Kerakoll's standards and negotiate long-term contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, R&D, Finance, and Project Management teams to ensure alignment of procurement timelines with project milestones for seamless execution.
- Compliance and Sustainability: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to regulatory and environmental standards, and drive Kerakoll's sustainable procurement practices across the supply chain.
We offer a competitive basic salary in the region of £90,000 per annum, car/fuel card, bonus (up to 10%), pension scheme, private healthcare, hybrid working, and flexible working hours.
