Job Title: Transport Driver - Class 2

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Driver - Class 2 to join our team at EV Cargo. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers while ensuring the safety and security of our vehicles and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with vehicle security procedures.
  • Manage handheld terminals and record accurate information, including delivery details and vehicle maintenance.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and return it to the Transport Office in a timely manner.
  • Report any delivery issues or concerns to the Transport Office promptly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards at all times.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 2 Driving Licence (C+E), CPC, and Digital Tacho Card.
  • Previous experience as a HGV Class 2 driver, with refrigeration and multi-drop experience preferred.
  • Strong geographical and logistical knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
