We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Water Industry Training Coordinator to join our Water Quality Team. This 15-month placement is perfect for students in their second or third year of university who are eager to learn about the chemical, biological, physical, and mechanical processes required for drinking water treatment.

You will have the chance to improve our training documentation, collate water treatment centre information, and assist with day-to-day operations and projects. Don't worry if you don't have prior knowledge of the water industry or technical skills – full training will be provided.

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including total pension contributions up to 20%, career progression and professional development opportunities, and 25 days' holiday rising to 28 with length of service.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Improving training documentation for all areas of drinking water treatment
  • Collating water treatment centre information and producing site-specific policies
  • Assisting the Science team with day-to-day operations and projects

This role involves both on-site and home working, so you must be comfortable working independently and have strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

The ideal candidate will also possess:

  • Experience in report writing and producing presentations
  • A valid driving licence, as driving will be an essential part of the role
