About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to lead a high-performing retail team in one of our busy stores. As a Floor Manager at River Island, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer engagement, and maintaining excellent visual merchandising standards.

Your primary focus will be on leading your team to achieve outstanding results, ensuring they have the necessary skills and support to excel in their roles. You'll also work closely with the management team to implement strategic plans and initiatives that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing retail team to deliver exceptional results
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and improve customer engagement
  • Maintain high-quality visual merchandising standards across the store floor
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, inventory, and replenishment processes
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve business objectives and implement company policies
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Floor Manager or similar leadership role in retail
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and engage team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting business needs
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business success
