Maths Tutor

Gi Group is seeking a skilled Maths Tutor to join our team. As a Maths Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering Maths accredited qualifications to learners on apprenticeship programmes or pre-apprenticeship programmes. Your role will involve teaching Maths skills to learners across various locations, including college sites and employer premises, using a combination of online and face-to-face methods.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver Maths accredited qualifications to learners on apprenticeship programmes or pre-apprenticeship programmes.
- Assess learners' levels of competency in Maths using diagnostic assessment materials.
- Design and implement individual learning plans tailored to each learner's specific needs.
- Regularly assess, monitor, review, and evaluate learners' progress and adjust individual learning plans as needed.
- Create and prepare teaching materials, including quizzes, assessments, and assignments, to enable learners to progress.
- Develop and deliver curriculum training and assessment plans (CTAPS) to support learners' Maths skills development.
- Support learners in producing work that meets City & Guilds standards for numeracy.
- Assist learners in achieving their life and employability goals.
- Collaborate with the training team to adapt and develop teaching resources for Maths skills development.
- Identify and support learners with additional learning needs.
- Track and monitor learners' progress in Maths using pro-solution and one-file.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
- Experience in delivering Maths accredited qualifications in apprenticeship programmes.
- Experience in monitoring and tracking learner progression and achievement.
- Level 2 in English/Literacy and Maths/Numeracy.
- Teaching qualification.
- Familiarity with relevant training standards and assessment requirements.
- Ability to understand and use ALN/ASN criteria to support learner achievement.
- Ability to travel across various locations.
