About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious individual to take on the challenge of running a thriving pub in Poynton, Stockport. As a key member of our Punch Managed Partnership, you will have the freedom to manage your own business, define your own wage structure, and work closely with an Operations Manager to build a successful pub legacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the pub, including staff management and customer service
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to develop and implement business strategies
  • Take ownership of the pub's financial performance and make informed decisions to drive growth
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers and partners

About the Pub

The Boars Head is a traditional cask marque pub with a rich history and a loyal customer base. The pub features a bar area, a fantastic beer garden, and a kitchen that caters for 50 covers. The domestic accommodation includes three bedrooms and a private lounge and kitchen.

About the Area

Poynton is a charming town in Cheshire, located just 11 miles from Manchester and 7 miles from Macclesfield. The area is affluent and offers a range of amenities and attractions, including the Middlewood Way walking trail and the nearby canal.
