Job Description:
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our procurement services team, providing specialist advice to public and private sector clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in regulated procurement, tender preparation, and negotiation, with experience in leading strategic major procurement projects or programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic procurement advice to clients, including tender preparation and negotiation.
- Lead and manage end-to-end procurement services on major projects or programmes.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet client needs.
- Manage and develop a team of procurement professionals.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their procurement needs and develop solutions.
- Experience in regulated procurement, particularly Public Contract Regulations 2015.
- Strong background in tender preparation, development, and management, including negotiation.
- Experience in leading strategic major procurement projects or programmes for public and private sector clients.
- Commission, client relationship, and people management skills.
- Cross-sector experience with a strong public procurement background is highly desirable.
- Ability to lead and develop key strategies and documentation for major procurement projects.
- Relevant degree in construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law, or procurement.
