About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Team Member to join our team at Hoar Cross Hall, a luxury spa resort in Staffordshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine checks and maintenance in all areas of the hotel and spa.
- Carry out basic repair jobs as directed by the Maintenance Manager, including redecorating, painting, tiling, guttering and other general repairs.
- Ensure all health and safety checks are completed and documented.
- Regularly inspect equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure all public areas are kept clean and tidy while completing jobs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a maintenance or handyman role is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Arrangements:
- The role will involve shift work working 4 days on and 4 days off.
- 6am – 6pm with a 1-hour break period.
- Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business.
