Isleworth, Greater London, United Kingdom Sky Full time
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Commerce team at Sky. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for conceiving, defining, designing, executing, testing, and launching highly effective enterprise-level back-end payments and fraud capabilities at a global scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and own product strategy for payments and fraud within the commerce back-end, aligning objectives with broader business goals and user needs.
  • Advocate for user-centric design and ensure that subscriptions and offer capabilities align with expectations and needs of the business and the customer.
  • Deliver requirements that meet industry best practices and standards for payments and fraud.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data to define requirements.
  • Present vision, strategy, work product, insights, and KPIs to stakeholders at every level of the organization.
  • Continuously optimize and enhance existing features based upon feedback and performance metrics.
  • Balance inputs from business, research, technology, and external teams. Create a network of cross-functional partners. Build rapport and earn trust.
  • Champion and evangelize best practices. Collaborate on the planning and building of scalable and extensible tools and resources.
  • Execute a roadmap of impact-generating functionality, and optimizations that prioritize value, business growth, and strategic opportunities.
  • Consider diverse market dynamics and behaviors to craft a comprehensive plan.
  • Be an expert in industry best practice, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of vendor partner and offer capabilities. Ground strategies and implementation plans in that understanding.
  • Participate in the evaluation of processing partners and work to integrate with payment processing and fraud management partners into broader payments ecosystem. Partner with other product team members, operations, and engineering teams to drive partner roadmap improvements.
  • Participate in buy vs. build analyses for payment processing capabilities. Consider balance of outcome and cost in all recommendations.
  • Ensure necessary reporting and analytics data can be effectively syndicated to dependent product, financial, and stakeholder teams.
Requirements
  • You are an experienced product owner with a proven track-record of end-to-end ownership and delivery of platform-level products—in particular, deep understanding of payments and fraud within a commerce domain.
  • Minimum 2 years owning product roadmap for a focus on strategizing, testing, developing, delivering, and scaling, preferably in streaming or media.
  • You identify the most impactful concepts and push them through a rigorous course of critical evaluation, execution, implementation, experimentation, success—or failure.
  • You have relentlessly high standards and deep operational knowledge and expertise in every aspect of digital product development. You use tools, technologies, established best practices, and your own experience-based methods.
  • You identify the most impactful concepts and push them through a rigorous course of critical evaluation, execution, implementation, experimentation, success—or failure.
  • You have the technical acumen to recommend and execute high-caliber products but the humility and partnership orientation to collaborate closely with engineering leaders to define solutions.
  • Fluency defining customer problems, identifying hypotheses, and prioritizing a product backlog.
  • Technical depth and fluency working with cross-platform engineering teams.
  • Exemplary understanding of systems design, technical architecture, and scalable product development.
  • Closely familiar with common project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Airtable, and Slack.
