We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Support Administrator to join our successful business in Foston, Derby. As a key member of our sales team, you will provide internal coordination and be a point of contact for customers, building and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring effective coordination of pricing, material & product availability, technical specifications, and production capabilities.
- Maintain proactive account management with suppliers, keeping up to date with developments and innovations that may provide a competitive advantage.
- Coordinate and distribute information both internally and externally, facilitating customer enquiries and making proactive contact with customers and the production team.
- Provide external technical support to customers and the sales team, ensuring first-class customer service and administration.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the flexibles market materials, products, innovations, and service offerings.
- Perform additional administrative and general office duties as requested.
Requirements:
- A background in a similar administration-based role within a commercial environment.
- IT competency, particularly Word and Excel skills.
- Confident and proactive, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, and to work independently and as a team.
- Professional, highly organized, articulate, self-motivated, and a team player with excellent customer-facing skills.
