Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support our primary team in Stevenage. The successful candidate will work closely with the teacher to provide support within the classroom.

About the Role
The school has a SEN Hub that provides support for students with autistic needs, aged between 6 and 11, who have associated behavioural and communication difficulties. Some pupils may have multiple needs, requiring a tailored approach to support their learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the teacher in delivering lessons and providing individual support to students
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individual education plans
  • Work with the SEN Hub team to provide additional support for students with autistic needs
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about supporting students with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with autistic needs and be able to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment. A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and ability to work collaboratively with the teaching team are essential.
