About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Nursery Practitioner, providing learning support to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This part-time role will involve working closely with the setting's SENDCO and supporting the individual learning and development of children with SEND.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with SEND in their individual learning and development, in-line with care plans.
  • Working with a wider group of children to cover the responsibilities of the Key Person, enabling them to work one-on-one with specific children.

Requirements:

  • Naturally nurturing, caring, and compassionate to others.
  • Experience of caring for children under five with SEND, ideally in a nursery environment.
  • Ability to be a positive role model, effectively meeting individual children's developmental and care needs.
  • Enjoy contributing within a busy, team environment.
