We are looking for a compassionate and understanding individual to join our team as a Mental Health Teaching Assistant. As part of our specialist school, you will work closely with students aged 10-16 who face various social, emotional and mental health challenges.

The successful candidate should possess strong communication skills, be open-minded and resilient. Experience working with SEN children and/or adults is essential. A background in Psychology, Criminology or Counselling would also be beneficial.

In return, we offer an attractive daily rate of £80-£100. Our comprehensive training programme ensures that our staff are equipped to provide high-quality care and education.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Safeguarding students' well-being and providing emotional support
  • Collaborating with teachers to develop individual learning plans
  • Assisting with lesson planning and implementation
