Mental Health Support Worker

A well-respected specialist school in the UK is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Teaching Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing emotional support and developing strong relationships with students aged 10-16 who face various social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting students with SEMH needs in a classroom setting
- Providing individualized support and encouragement to promote positive mental health
- Collaborating with teaching staff to develop tailored support plans
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with SEN children or adults
- Knowledge of mental health principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
We offer a competitive salary of £90-£110 per day, paid weekly on a PAYE basis. Additionally, our team provides excellent on-site training, support, and CPD opportunities to ensure the safeguarding of all students.
