Job Description

As a Project Pricing Coordinator at Arcus FM, you will be responsible for coordinating the pricing of new opportunities and tenders for all Business Development opportunities. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, providing leadership and management at tender stage, and ensuring high-quality tender returns in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the pricing of new opportunities and tenders for all Business Development opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including directors, project owners, designers, and contractors.
  • Provide leadership and management at tender stage, including negotiation and analysis of subcontractor works packages.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure high-quality tender returns in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the Projects Bid Writer and wider operations and commercial projects team to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Analyse tender information, organise quotations from external suppliers/sub-contractors, and resolve any queries that arise.
  • Liaise closely with clients, sub-contractors, and in-house teams to build and maintain good working relationships.
  • Review and understand tender documents, highlighting key aspects, requirements, and areas of risk together with mitigation.
  • Provide value engineering opportunities while maintaining quality and scope.
  • Eliminate commercial risks in tenders during contract negotiations.
  • Prepare clear and concise handover packs from estimating to operational and commercial teams for secured works.
  • Deliver tendering activities in line with all relevant Arcus FM policies, quality, and health and safety management systems.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in estimating or quantity surveying, with specific understanding of bid and tender processes in projects environments.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in construction projects companies/divisions.
  • Good technical knowledge of building fabrics and M&E elements of projects.
  • Good commercial and contractual awareness (inc JCT and NEC forms of contract).
  • Good understanding of CDM Regs and the role, duties, and obligations of the principal contractor.

Salary and Benefits:
