Conveyancing Paralegal Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our property law team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of conveyancing transactions, ensuring timely completion and registration of files.
  • Take instructions from clients and third parties, maintaining accurate file notes and communicating effectively.
  • Draft legal documents, including Standard Precedent Letters, Contract Packs, and Land Registry forms.
  • Conduct pre-completion, Land Registry, and conveyancing searches accurately and timely.
  • Ensure files are ready for exchange and completion, with all necessary paperwork and funds in place.
  • Perform post-completion work, including preparing and sending applications to the Land Registry and Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions.

Requirements:
  • Experience within a conveyancing environment is ideal.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with knowledge of Case Management Systems and Microsoft Office preferred but not essential.
