Job Description:

Simpson Judge Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Conveyancing Paralegal to join their team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing caseloads, delivering an outstanding service to clients, and working closely with a Legal Executive to support the day-to-day running of files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing caseloads and delivering an outstanding service to clients
  • Working closely with a Legal Executive to support the day-to-day running of files
  • Providing general advice and updates to clients
  • Responsibility for dealing with sale and purchase transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Undertaking Exchange of Contracts
  • Communicating with Clients, Agents, Brokers, and Solicitors on a day-to-day basis
  • Dealing with post, emails, and calls, ensuring excellent customer service is provided at all times

Requirements:

  • 1 or 2 years' experience of a legal assistant in Conveyancing
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Good time management skills and able to set own priorities ahead of the day
  • Strong written and oral communication skills as well as good telephone manner with customers to give positive first impression
  • Ability to think logically and use common sense to problem solve
