Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Production Operations Specialist to join our team at SPIROL. This is a varied role that requires adaptability and a willingness to support multiple departments within the factory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sorting and Quality Control: Ensure the correct setting of various bowl types, manual and automatic, in accordance with procedures and work instructions. Remove all damaged and defective product.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain records of all process conditions as laid out in the works instructions. Perform stock control through cycle checking of both finished goods and raw material.
  • Logistics and Shipping: Pack finished product according to packing instructions, box sizes, and box quantities. Locate packed goods into the stores. Pick product from the stores ready for dispatch. Prepare goods for dispatch and loading of goods for dispatch.
  • Receiving and Inspection: Receive sub-contract work, perform inspection as required, and distribute to appropriate areas for further processing. Receive WIP product from various production areas within the factory and store within the designated area.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Maintain the work areas to the highest possible standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as may be reasonably requested.
