Job Summary

The General Operator position is a dynamic role that encompasses various responsibilities within the Factory. This position requires adaptability and flexibility to support the cross-functional nature of the job.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sorting and Separation: Operate manual and automatic sorters, as well as other sorting methods, to separate and sort coiled pins and tubular products.
  • Heat Treatment: Responsible for heat treating products in compliance with procedures and specifications, ensuring productivity standards are met.
  • Packing and Shipping: Pack completed production orders, ensuring SPIROL and customer packing requirements are met, and prepare products for shipment.
  • Picking and Receiving: Pick orders from the warehouse, restock unused parts, and receive WIP product from production areas.
  • Stock Control and Maintenance: Monitor and maintain records of process conditions, perform cycle checks, and maintain work areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
  • General Duties: Perform other duties as reasonably requested, including moving raw material, booking into the system, and receiving subcontract work.
Requirements

This position requires an easy-going character, sound judgment, and the ability to take instruction. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
