Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical and Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Uppingham School. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our school's mechanical and electrical systems.

As a Mechanical and Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Head of Mechanical & Electrical Services in developing and implementing a preventative maintenance plan
  • Overseeing the work of a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to ensure high-quality facilities maintenance services are delivered
  • Providing technical guidance and support to the team and external contractors
  • Ensuring the timely resolution of maintenance issues and providing solutions to technical problems

We are looking for a positive and hard-working individual with a strong background in a mechanical or electrical trade. You will have a proven track record of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within facilities maintenance, and possess strong leadership and organisational skills.
