We are currently looking for an experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Mechanical Services Engineer or Associate Director - Mechanical Engineering, with the long-term goal of becoming a Partner or Equity Partner.


Role



  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to deliver high-quality mechanical services.
  • Oversee the mechanical design process from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and quality of mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Resource management, financial planning, project planning, and business development.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Qualifications and Experience



  • A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Chartered engineer with CIBSE or IET.
  • Extensive experience in the design and installation of mechanical systems in buildings.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams and overseeing projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to mechanical building services.
  • Excellent technical expertise in HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in mechanical design and analysis.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
