This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Domestic Assistant at University Hospital Ayr. You will be responsible for providing a wide range of domestic services, including cleaning and maintaining the hospital environment, to meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide domestic services to support clinical services throughout Ayrshire and Arran
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Operate equipment and use cleaning materials safely and effectively

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting or with industrial cleaning equipment is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and practical skills

Working Hours:

Post 1: 7.89 hours, working 1300-1700, Saturday-Sunday 1305-1700

Post 2: 5.92 hours, working 1700-2000, Saturday-Sunday 1705-2000
