About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bank Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Tonbridge Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, supporting our nurseries within a pre-agreed radius of your home address.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Nursery colleagues in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities.
  • Supervise children throughout the day, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different nurseries and environments.
