Senior Manager Job Description

WeAreTechWomen is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of Enterprise Solutions across our AIR Sector.

Estimated Salary: £54,793+ per annum, depending on experience and location in Warton or Samlesbury. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and delivering against our Integrated Business Plan, ensuring seamless integration between projects, and managing customer, partner, and supplier relationships. You will also develop and track project plans, budget, and schedule, as well as ensuring business, project, and quality management processes are effectively applied across projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver IT projects to time, cost, and quality, while ensuring accurate reporting of project status to team members, leadership, and external stakeholders.
  2. Manage RAID ( Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) effectively.
  3. Develop and implement effective stakeholder management strategies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the VAS (Virtual Application Service) into the business and embed it as an enduring enterprise service.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Application Project Management experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in IT project/programme management.
  • Understanding of VAS, Application Packaging, and Role-Based Profiles.
  • Previous experience of successful deployment of complex IT solutions, especially around software development, VAS, or Complex Desktops.
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience of delivering projects using various methodologies, including Waterfall (Prince, PMP), Agile, and ITIL.
  • Experience of IT software development projects and/or organisational change projects.
  • Experience with Atlassian and Confluence.
