Full-time position with 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum.

Contract Type
Permanent contract.

Full-time Equivalent Salary
Bucks Pay Range 2: £24,879 - £26,961, plus a £2,000 TA Academy Allowance, approximately £18,533- £20,084 per annum pro-rata.

Required Skills and Experience

Essential

NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification.

GCSE Maths and English (A-C grade).

Experience working with young people.

Transparent and logical work history.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Effective communication skills.

Ability to plan and record.

A safe and measured adult who can maintain safe boundaries with children and young people.

Creative, enthusiastic, and patient individual.

Willingness to challenge oneself and continually improve performance.

Ability to maximise opportunities for young people.

Car driver.

Desirable

NVQ Level 3 related to support for the learning of young people.

SEN qualification.

Experience working with challenging behaviour.

Working as a Learning Support Assistant.

Evidence of career achievement and progress.

Ability to demonstrate high-quality classroom practice.

Contribution to the learning environment.

Knowledge and awareness of issues related to underachievement and barriers to learning and participation.

Consistent approach to behaviour management.

Willingness to grow professionally and develop.

Basic first aid.
