Resource Recovery Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Resource Recovery Specialist to join our team at CV-Library. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on ensuring that waste is managed efficiently and effectively.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting daily site inspections, identifying opportunities to improve waste management processes, and promoting reuse and recycling among members of the public.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct daily site inspections and record findings
- Identify opportunities to improve waste management processes
- Direct members of the public on waste disposal procedures
- Encourage users to reuse before recycling
- Identify reusable items for charity partners
- Prevent unauthorized access to waste
- Prior experience in recycling or waste management is desirable but not essential
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn correctly at all times
- Courteous attitude towards customers, clients, and colleagues
- Good timekeeping skills
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to work 5 out of 7 days per week
- Estimated Salary: £29,250 - £34,300 per annum
- Opportunity for permanent employment
- Training provided where necessary
- Weekly pay every Friday
