Job Title: Revit Technician

Balfour Beatty PLC is seeking an experienced Revit Technician to join an exciting new project with the Substation division based in Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building and managing collaborative models for live projects, working closely with project teams and Engineering Managers.
  • Creating drawing and model outputs in line with Clients Digital requirements.
  • Developing the current software and investigating new software/processes to improve efficiency and output.
  • Delivering training and managing training matrix - creating a team competent and capable of producing various drawing and model outputs.
  • Managing project models through BIM360 Collaboration and Coordination modules.
  • Managing clash detection processes ensuring they align to project specific requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of Autodesk Revit (Structural or Architectural).
  • Previous experience working on large scale projects such as HS2, power transmission or substations.
  • Working knowledge of Autocad.
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks.
  • Experience in developing GAs & details from Engineers Drawings and Site measurements.
