We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Technician to join our successful structural engineering team in Newcastle.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on exciting, high-profile projects that will engage and develop your existing skillset portfolio.

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our senior engineers and learn from their expertise, while gaining exposure to working with new materials.

Our national civil, highways, structural and water engineering team is led from Bristol, with established teams in various locations across the UK.

You can expect to work with exceptional colleagues and have an interesting variety of challenging and sometimes prestigious projects.

Your role will include:

  • Advanced use of AutoCAD and REVIT to produce building and structural design information.
  • Delivery of digital models and technical drawings for the design of various structures throughout the UK.
  • Liaising with other designers and external consultants to enable coordination of project drawings.
  • Providing input for project designs and reports.
  • Development of AutoCAD / REVIT procedures and quality control.

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic and collaborative team player with knowledge of structural engineering and building detailing.

Proficient in computer-aided drawing and the use of AutoCAD and REVIT to produce 2D and 3D models, drawings and schedules.

Experience of working across a wide range of building sectors is essential.
