Job Title: Golf Course Technician

Punderson Manor State Park Lodge seeks an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Golf Course Technician in Newbury, Ohio. This is a part-time hourly position responsible for maintaining the golf course and grounds to ensure a high-quality experience for guests.

Compensation:
We offer a competitive pay rate of $15-$20 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, benefits include a 401(k) retirement savings plan, hotel room discounts, food & retail discounts, and ongoing training and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on the golf course, including mowing, raking, trimming, and aerating greens and fairways.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the course by picking up trash, removing debris, and maintaining flower beds and planters.
  • Use various hand tools and small equipment to repair and maintain irrigation systems and drainage systems.
  • Assist with set-up and preparation of the course for tournaments and events.
  • Operate larger equipment, such as mowers and tractors, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Report any issues or necessary repairs to the Golf Course Superintendent.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Prior experience in golf course maintenance preferred.
  • Knowledge of proper turf care and golf course etiquette.
  • Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
