Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead teams involved in assay design, development, validation, and system integration for NGS products and services.
  • Design and develop research use only (RUO) and CEIVD regulated products, taking ideas from ideation to product launch.
  • Provide scientific expertise, people leadership, and technical leadership during the product development cycle.
  • Work with project managers to ensure high-quality results are delivered in a timely fashion.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Degree or further degree in a life science such as molecular biology, biochemistry, or genetics.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably with supervisory or line management experience.
  • NGS experience across various short-read and long-read platforms.
  • Ability to manage a team of scientists and technicians, motivate, and provide leadership and guidance.
  • Expertise in developing, verifying, and validating molecular diagnostic assays in adherence to CE marking and/or design control regulations.
