Job Title: Ledger Clerk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ledger Clerk to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update the general ledger: Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and up-to-date.
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments: Verify and process all financial documents to ensure timely and accurate payment.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies: Identify and resolve any discrepancies in our financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports: Provide support in preparing financial reports to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards: Ensure that all financial activities are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks: Provide assistance to the finance team as needed to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
Requirements:
